Asking price isn’t selling price
What a property last sold for — and when — is public record in Ireland. Almost nobody checks it before making an offer.
For buyers on Daft.ie & MyHome.ie
Eire Finder is a browser extension that pins official sale history, true time on market and street-level price context onto every advert — automatically, whilst you’re looking at it.
Anyone can trawl the government’s Property Price Register by hand. Eire Finder does the cross-checking at the exact moment you need it.

01 — The problem
People make six-figure decisions on Irish property with information that is technically public — but scattered across records no advert will gather for you.
What a property last sold for — and when — is public record in Ireland. Almost nobody checks it before making an offer.
Listings routinely sit for over a year. That is negotiating leverage the advert never mentions — and never will.
Registered sales on the same street tell you what the market actually pays. Nothing puts them beside the advert.
None of this is secret. All of it is scattered.
What Eire Finder is
Eire Finder lists no properties and competes with no one. It is an intelligence layer that runs on top of the adverts you are already viewing. There is nothing for estate agents to adopt, no new website to check — it works from the day you install it.
02 — How it works
One click in Chrome. Eire Finder asks for nothing it doesn’t need.
Keep searching Daft.ie and MyHome.ie exactly as you do today.
On any advert, a small green button appears in the bottom-right corner.
Sale history, days on market, street comparables and a Google shortcut — in one panel, right beside the advert.
03 — The panel
Click the floating button and the register comes to you. Here is the panel on a sample advert.

05 — FAQ
Primarily the Property Price Register — the official Irish government record of residential property sales. Sale prices and dates are matched from that register automatically. True time on market comes from the listing itself, and street comparables are other registered sales on the same road, organised so you can read the local market at a glance.
Not yet. Daft.ie and MyHome.ie together cover the vast majority of property adverts in Ireland, so that is where we started. Support for other sites — Property.ie included — is on the roadmap.
No. Eire Finder is a fully independent product with no affiliation to any property portal, estate agent or State body. We simply read public records that anyone can consult, and put them beside the advert — at the moment you actually need them.
No. Eire Finder activates only on supported property sites, and nothing about your browsing history leaves your browser.
Accurate, automatic matching against official records takes continuous work. €1.99 a month keeps Eire Finder independent, ad-free and maintained — a small fraction of the cost of the decision it supports.
